VIEW DOCS ON LINE

1.Requirements to use View Docs Online
To use View Docs Online, you just need to have a browser with the Flash plug-in installed (it is present by default in the modern browsers). If you are not able to see the documents online, you may need to install or upgrade the Flash plug-in for your browser. You can download the Flash player for free at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/.

4. What is the maximum size of the document that I can upload?
You can upload documents of size up to 25 MB at a time.

5. Is my document private?
Yes, the documents uploaded on View Docs Online are kept private: this means that they are not indexed by the search engines and they are not promoted in any way. The only way to view them is to know their url (i.e.: http://www.viewdocsonline.com/document/15731147). Of course, if somebody publishes this link in a website crawled by a search engine, then the document will be indexed as well.

6. How long does my document stay online?
A document will stay online for at least 3 weeks from its upload: after this period we do not guarantee that the document will still be there. This is mainly due to the fact that to keep the service free of charge we have some resource limit and hence we cannot keep a document forever.

7. How can I remove a document?
Since the 14th of March 2010, you can remove the documents that you upload to View Docs Online doing click on the "Delete" button that is positioned in the header of the viewer page. This button is present only for the documents you have uploaded so that nobody else can delete your documents. To recognize the user that uploads a document, we make use of the browser cookies: we made this choice to avoid the introduction of a mandatory registration (we are aware that you like using our service without having to register).
